Biography
John Sittig was NCAA 880y champion in 1927. He also placed fourth in that event in 1926. He competed for the University of Illinois, where he studied commerce, and he later represented the Chicago AA. Sittig went into the insurance business and also worked in investments.
Personal Best: 800 – 1:53.4 (1928).
