Biography

Alfred Voellmeke was born in America to German and French immigrants. He finished third in the 1912 AAU 5K walk, which put him on the Olympic Team. He competed for the Pastime AC. Voellmeke settled near the Lakes Region of New Hampshire where he worked as an athletics instructor.
