Biography

Austrian wrestler Rudolf Arnold was the 1904 World Champion in the unlimited Greco-Roman style and finished sixth the following year. He then participated in the 1906 Intercalated Athens Games and was eliminated in the heavyweight class in the first round. He was also a member of the Austrian tug-of-war team that finished fourth, and last, after defeats by Germany (2-0) and Sweden (2-0).
