Biography

Austrian ice dancer Kathrin Beck and her brother Christoff participated at World Championships from 1983-88 with a fifth place in 1988 as their best result. At Europeans during that period, they came an unfortunate fourth in 1986 and 1987. The pair also won the national title six years in a row between 1983-88, and at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics they finished fifth.

Kathrin Beck became an actress after her active career. She appeared in several German and Austrian TV series and films. From 1991-99 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt at Wien (Vienna). In 2007 she married musician, composer and producer Christian Klikovits and moved to Los Angeles.
