Biography

Corpi began boxing in 1975 and went on to represent Sweden in both the Moscow and Los Angeles Olympics. Winner of five Swedish national amateur titles, he was Nordic champion in 1980 and 1982 having previously won both titles at junior level. After a career of 150 amateur fights he fought just once as a professional, a draw in a bout that took place in England, and then retired from the ring. Corpi went on become a school teacher and sports coach in Solna.
