Biography

Dianne Peach started skating at the age of eight. When she was 13 she was trained by Gladys Hogg, who coached the two-time Olympians John and Jennifer Nicks. In 1954 Peach won the British junior women’s title.

Despite not having a podium finish at the senior championships, Peach was selected for the singles event at the 1956 Cortina Winter Olympics, where she finished 14th. She eventually captured her only senior British title in the 1957/58 season, having finished second to Erica Batchelor the previous season.

Peach Competed in the 1956 World Championships and finished 12th. She then took part in the 1957 and 1958 European Championships with a fourth place at Bratislava in the second of those years being her best finish. Shortly afterwards, Peach turned professional and joined the Ice Capades show in the USA. She settled in America and married lieutenant James Edgar of the United States Army in 1960. They divorced in 1987 and Peach married Nathan Bozarth in 2011, at the age of 71.
