Biography

Gianmario Baroni was an Italian ice hockey defenseman and an engineer by profession. He played for Milano HC throughout most of his career. Baroni won six Italian titles (1928, 1930-31, 1933-34, 1938), and competed for the Italian team at the European Championships (1929), in four editions of the World Championships (1930, 1933-35), and one Olympic Winter Games (1936). Baroni finished his career in 1937/38 with A.M.D.G. (Associazione Milanese Disco su Ghiaccio), born from the union of HC Milano and Diavoli Rossoneri.
