Biography

Bertil Carlsson won the ski jumping bronze medal at the 1927 World Championships, but the Norwegians and Finns were absentees. The following year Carlsson finished 10th. Nationally, he was four times Swedish Champion - in the ski jumping team events (1926-27, 1930) and Nordic combined (1926) - representing Djurgårdens IF from Stockholm. In the early 1930s, he was a member of the board of the club.
