Biography

Ján Cífka was a Czechoslovak cross-country skier and ski jumper. Cífka competed in the 18 kilometres and 50 kilometres at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics, finishing 22nd and 14th respectively. In the Nordic combined Cífka just missed out on a top-10 finish with 11th place. He also finished in 24th place in the ski jump.
