Biography

Born in 1899, Vincenzo Colli took part in the 1924 Chamonix Winter Olympics. He was the brother of Enrico Colli, also a cross-country skier, and father of Ilio Colli, an Alpine skier who took part in the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics. At the age of 24 Vincenzo Colli took part in the first Olympic Winter Games, finishing 11th in the 50 km. At the Italian championships he won a bronze medal in the 18 km in 1925, a race won by his brother Enrico. Vincenzo took part in international competitions in Austria, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia.
