Biography

Anton Crişan played for Steaua Bucaresti from 1960-72, leading them to the national title as goaltender every year. He also won 6 Romanian Cups during his career as a player. Crişan led Romania to a third-place finish at the 1963 World Championships B Division, and he competed five times at the European Championships. He later became coach of Steaua Bucaresti, the Army team, from 1982-97, leading them to 14 national titles and 13 Romania Cups. He was also national team coach from 1993-95.
