Biography

The winter of 1984 was very successful for Valery Dudin. He won his only Soviet title in singles and after that he surprised everyone by winning a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. This medal would remain his only one at major international tournament. After his sporting career Dudin worked as a luge coach in Bratsk.
