Figure skater Jürgen Eberwein finished a disappointing 24th in the men’s singles at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics. At the West German nationals, he finished third in both 1964 and 1967, and as runner-up in 1968. At the European Championships of 1967 and 1968, he was placed 14th on each occasion. Although born in Berlin, Eberwein skated for SC Riessersee in Bavaria.
