Biography

Hans Edgar Endres finished 18th with the four/five man bob Germany I at the 1928 St. Moritz Winter Olympics. He later became a sports administrator. From 1928-35 he was treasurer of the Deutsche Bob- und Schlittenverband, serving as vice-chairman from 1934-35, and in 1936 he was a member of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Winter Games at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He also became an honourable member of the Deutsche Bob- und Schlittenverband. Endres was a career Officer, rising to captain in 1934 and was promoted to lieutenant-colonel in 1942 as a member of the military staff of the alternative service inspection.
