Biography

Håkan Eriksson started playing hockey with Skellefteå AIK in 1974 and won a Swedish title with them in 1978, but he moved that year to Djurgårdens IF and played there until 1984, winning his second Swedish title with them in 1983. Eriksson finished his career with the Lidingö Vikings, where he played from 1984-87. Eriksson was capped 58 times with the Swedish national team. He won Olympic bronzes in 1980 and 1984, a World Championship bronze in 1979 and an European Championship bronze in 1979. After finishing his playing career, Eriksson worked as a coach with Djurgårdens IF.
