Biography

Norbert Felsinger was an Austrian figure skater who placed seventh at the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics in the men’s singles. Four years later at Squaw Valley he was the flagbearer at the opening ceremony, but did not finish his event.

Felsinger participated in all European and World Championships from 1954-60. His best results were the fourth place at the 1960 Worlds and a bronze and silver medal at the 1959 and 1960 Europeans respectively. In all of those years he won the Austrian national title.
