Biography

Ski jumper Alfred Grosche from Winterberg competed in the 1972 Sapporo and the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. His best results were 10th place on the normal hill and 16th place on the large hill in 1976. He won West German titles on the normal hill in 1969, 1975 and 1977, and on the large hill in 1974, 1975 and 1977. Grosche later became a regional youth coach at the Olympic Center in Winterberg.
