Bjørn Gulbrandsen was a Norwegian ice hockey player who represented Vålerengens IF in Oslo. In 1951 Gulbrandsen was part of the national team that won bronze at the European Ice Hockey Championships in Paris. The following year he competed at the 1952 Oslo Olympics, playing in eight matches and scoring three goals. Gulbrandsen had a lengthy career, playing his matches in the 1970–71 season before becoming a coach.
