Marius Jaccard played ice hockey for Switzerland at the 1920 and 1924 Winter Olympics. He also competed at the 1922 European Championships, helping the Swiss team win a bronze medal. A defenseman, Jaccard started his career with Lausanne HC, but later skated for Château d’Oex and Villars HC, retiring after the 1927/28 season. He also played football for Montriond Sports. Jaccard became a journalist and was later the sports editor of La Tribune de Lausanne.
