Biography

Bogo Jan was a Slovenian ice hockey player who competed for Yugoslavia at the 1964, 1968, and 1972 Winter Olympics. He spent his entire career with his hometown team of HK Jesenice, playing for them from 1963-1973, and helping them continue their streak of 15 consecutive Yugoslav league titles from 1957-71. Jan started as a forward but later converted to defense. He was capped 159 times for Yugoslavia. Bogo often played alongside his brothers, Ivo and Milan Jan, both with Jesenice and Yugoslavia. Bogo Jan was inducted into the Slovenian Hockey Hall of Fame.
