Biography

A 1928 Winter Olympian in ice hockey, Herbert Klang played from 1926-41, mostly with Wiener EV. A right winger, he skated at times for Wien City, St. Moritz EHC, Wiener EKE, Kraków DTSG, and Amsterdam Blue Six. Klang also competed at the 1929 European Championships, being capped 10 times. After the 1928 Winter Olympics, Klang was suspended for 10 months, along with Walter Sell and Hermann Weiss, although the reasons for the suspension are unclear.
