Biography

Ice hockey player Walter Kremershof finished eighth with the German team at the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympic Games, and in 1953 won the silver medal at the World Championships. He earned 28 international caps, and played for KTSV Preußen Krefeld from 1951-67, except for the 1961-62 season, when he played with EC Oberstdorf. He was later inducted into the German Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.
