Biography

Austrian bobsledder Günter Krispel participated at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. He was a member of the four-men bob Austria I team, finishing tenth eventually. At the 1982 European Championships he won a bronze medal, also with the four-men bob.

Krispel started his sports career as a decathlete and won Austrian national titles. He later became a sports administrator and became manager of NÖLSS (NÖ Landessportschulanlagen Betriebs GmbH) and was then appointed as authorized representative of NÖLSS. In 1998 Krispel was appointed operational managing director, and from 1997 he was managing director of the sports performance model in St. Pölten.
