Biography

East Berlin-born German speed skater Thomas Kumm was a middle- and long-distance specialist finishing 19th over 1,500 metres and 29th over 5,000 metres at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Games. He won two national titles. In 1996, he participated in his only World Championships with little success.

Personal Bests: 500 – 38.20 (1994); 1000 – 1:16.73 (1998); 1500 – 1:55.25 (1994); 5000 – 6:53.57 (1994); 10000 – 14:25.79 (1994).
