Biography

Johnny Larntvet was a Norwegian ice hockey player who represented SK Forward and Furuset IF before the start of World War II. After the war was over Larntvet joined Gamlebyen IF where he stayed until his retirement in 1952. He played in 30 matches for the national team and captained the side from 1949 to 1952. Larntvet won bronze at the 1951 European Ice Hockey Championships in Paris before competing at the Oslo Olympics the following year. He later worked as a coach, including a stint with the Norwegian team in the 1958–59 season.
