Biography

Judy Schwomeyer was an ice dancer who competed at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics in the ice dancing demonstration. Schwomeyer was a couple with Jim Sladky, and the two would later marry, although they divorced in 1990. Schwomeyer and Sladky were US Champions for five consecutive years, from 1968-72. They were North American Champions in 1971. At the World Championships they won a silver medal in 1970 and bronze medals in 1969, 1971, and 1972.

Schwomeyer later became an actress, with a number of credits on IMDb, listed under her original married name of Judy Sladky. Schwomeyer and Sladky were inducted into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame together in 1991.
