Lars Kober was a German sprint canoeist who won the bronze medal with Stefan Uteß in the Canadian doubles over 1,000 metres at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The pair also won a bronze medal at the 1997 European Championships. Kober later turned to coaching, and became chief national coach in Germany.
