Biography

Jennifer Parilla was the first American to compete on the trampoline at the Olympics, when it made its début as an Olympic sport at 2000 Sydney. She also competed at the 2004 Athina Olympics.

Parilla won 12 national titles, five in individual trampoline (1998, 2000, 2002-04), five in synchronized trampoline (1993-96, 1998), and two double mini-trampoline titles (1998-99). In 1994 she was World Champion in the team double mini-trampoline event. Parilla was on the US National Team from 1993-2004.

Parilla attended Orange Coast College and then Cal Tech Pomona. She later became the Trampoline and Tumbling Director at the National Gymnastics Training Center in Aliso Viejo, California. Parilla was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2010.
