Auguste Philippe Marocco was a Monegasque portrait and landscape painter. He traveled Europe, worked in England as a set designer at major theaters, married in the Netherlands, and exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1913. In the 1950s, he became director of the Municipal School of Decorative Arts. Marocco was also a member of the NOC of Monaco. An illustration of his painting Le depart is included in the 1928 catalog, as well as of Jeux et lumières in that of 1936, the former being already in possession of the NOC of Monaco at the time of the Olympics.
