The only notable achievement of Alfred March’s skating career was competing at the 1908 Olympics. One of three Britons competing, he finished fifth at Prince’s Club, in a competition watched by the former British Prime Minister, Arthur Balfour. A member of the National Skating Association, March was also a roller skating judge.
