Marita Hagelin was a Finnish competitive swimmer who was active in the 1950s. In 1952 Hagelin was selected to represent her country at her home Olympics in Helsinki in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle relay. The Finnish quartet, however, came last in their heat and Hagelin did not get a chance to swim at the Games along with compatriot Eva Korhonen, who were both listed as alternates.
