Biography

Linda Miller rowed the eight for the USA at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She started college at Boston University but then transferred to George Washington University, where she helped their eight win the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) Regatta and take bronze at the Champion International Regatta (now the ECAC League Championship).

Miller was on the US National Team from 1994-2000, competing at the 1997, 1998, and 1999 World Championships. At Worlds she won a bronze in the pair in 1998 and a silver in the eight in 1999.

Miller then returned to school, earning a master’s degree in public policy at George Washington. As Linda Lowenfish she became a policy analyst at the US Government Accountability Office (GAO).
