Biography

Henry Nuzum rowed double sculls at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. He also rowed quad sculls at the 2001 and 2003 World Championships. He rowed in college at Harvard University, captaining their heavyweight crew, and graduating in 1999.

Nuzum later had a military and government career. While at Harvard he participated in the Naval ROTC Program at nearby MIT and then joined the Navy as an officer, serving two Arabian Gulf deployments. He later received a master’s degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Nuzum worked for the Pentagon, the House Armed Services Committee, and the International Republican Institute in Iraq. He then became President of Waterman Logistics, and international shipping group and leading their Global Logistics section, in which he managed all aspects of the PCTC fleet, purpose-built vessels for the transportation of different types of rolling cargo, and led business development in Washington, DC.
