Biography

German sport shooter Christian Bauer finished sixth in the small-bore rifle three positions event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In 1999, he won a silver medal at the European Championships. Bauer also won several German national titles, and competed in crossbow events.

A service employee of the Carl Walther sports service company, Bauer nevertheless remained connected to sport shooting, helping shooters with problems with their equipment at championships. He also worked as an assistant coach with the German national team.
