Biography

Yinghua Cheng played singles and doubles table tennis at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was a right-handed shake-hand player who played and coached out of the Maryland Table Tennis Center. Born in Chongqing, China, Cheng was on the Chinese National Team from 1977-87, and coached the Sichuan Province Team in China.

In the United States Cheng won four US singles titles and multiple doubles titles. He was US national coach of the year in 1997 and served as a coach and trainer for the US national teams.
