Nuno Marques was a Portuguese tennis player who played professionally from 1986 to 2001. Marques achieved a career-best singles ranking of #86 in the world in September 1995, and a doubles ranking of #58 in the world in April 1997. He reached three doubles finals during his career, winning at the Grand Prix Hassan II tournament in Casablanca in 1997 with compatriot João Cunha e Silva. Marques had his best Grand Slam performance in 2000 when he and Tom Vanhoudt reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open. Later that same year he partnered Bernardo Mota in the doubles at the Sydney Olympics.
