Biography

Tommy Mörth played most of his career from 1976-92 with Djurgårdens IF, except at the end of his career, when he played two seasons with Malmö IF (1988-90) and another two seasons with Järfälla HC (1990-92). With Djurgårdens, Mörth won a Swedish title in 1983. Internationally, Mörth won Olympic bronze in 1984 and European Championships silver in 1982 and bronze in 1983. He was awarded the Stora Grabbars Märke (Big Boys’ Badge) #131 in ice hockey. After finishing his sporting career, Mörth worked as a fire fighter.
