Biography

Hans Peter Oberhuber competed at the 1984 Sarajevo and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics as a speed skater in the sprint distances, representing West Germany. In 1988, he won the West German sprint all-around, his only national title.

Oberhuber later became an engineer at the Technical University München, specializing in architecture, and was an expert on the valuation of developed and undeveloped land, rents, and leases. He also ran his own architectural studio from 1992-96.

Personal Bests: 500 – 37.73 (1988); 1000 – 1:16.38 (1988); 1500 – 2:00.93 (1984); 5000 – 7:52.52 (1980).
