John “Jack” Ferguson Page was a British individual and, in the first part of his career, also a pairs skater. He partnered with Ethel Muckelt at the 1924 and 1928 Olympic Winter Games. In 1924 they just barely missed a medal placing fourth but in the same year they won silver at the World Championships only defeated by Austrians Helene Engelmann and Alfred Berger. In the individual event, Page won his only (bronze) medal at the 1926 World Championships. But he was always close, never finishing worse than fifth in his five appearances at World Championships. With 11 individual titles at British Championships, including 10 consecutively, Page still holds the national record.
