Biography

Else Ammann from Hindelang in West Germany finished seventh with the 3x5 km cross-country relay at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the individual 10 km she finished 20th. The West German 5 km champion in 1952 and 1956, Ammann was the oldest member of the mixed German team at the Cortina Olympics.
