Patrick Parisot represented France in the two-man and four-man bobsleigh events at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics where the teams finished ninth in both races. Outside of the bobsleigh Parisot was an experienced pilot and skydiver. After a career in the French Army he then worked as the chief pilot at the Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGAC). Parisot later served two terms as the mayor of the village Plaudren in Brittany in 2008 and 2014.
