Biography

Eberhard Rausch was a West German figure skater who partnered Corinna Halke throughout his career. Both participated in the five World Championships 1972-76, with an eighth place in the latter year being their best finish. They also competed in the five Europeans in those same years, with a seventh-place finish in 1974 being their best result.

At the 1972 Sapporo, and 1976 Innsbruck Winter Games, they finished tenth and eighth respectively. The pair won the West German title in the three years 1974-76. Rausch had earlier partnered non-Olympian Brunhilde Bassler at the 1969-71 World Championships and the 1970-71 Europeans, also with limited success. They did, however, win the West German title in 1970.
