Cross-country skier Andreas Ringhofer represented Austria at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. His best result was the ninth place with the relay. He was also active as a ski mountaineer, cyclist, mountain runner, and marathon runner. Ringhofer, who resided in Schladming, was married and raised a daughter. He worked as a police officer.
