Biography

Giovanni Scotti was an Italian ice hockey player. His career began as a teenager with HC Milano where he won his first Italian title at the end of the 1926/27 season at the age of 16. With HC Milano he won two other Italian titles (1931, 1933) before moving on to the other Milano club, Diavoli Rossoneri, of which he was a founding member, winning two more Italian titles in 1935 and 1936.

Internationally, Gianni Scotti took part at the 1934 and 1935 Worlds Championships, and played for Italy at the 1936 Olympic Winter Games. He later moved to the United States.
