Biography

Erling Steineide competed in the cross-country skiing relay at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. He just missed the podium as Norway finished fourth. Steineide was Norwegian Champion at 15 km in 1965. He was also on winning relay teams at the Norwegian Championships six times between 1963-71, representing the teams of Sjårdalen IL and Heidal IL.
