Biography

Dick Taylor started skiing for the Gilford Outing Club in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, and later competed for Dartmouth. He competed in both cross-country and biathlon after college, making the 1964 US Winter Olympic team. Taylor later coached with the US national Nordic team from 1979-91, and then became a ski coach at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, where he also taught English, German, and Latin.
