Biography

Decio Trovati was an Italian ice hockey right winger. Born in Genova he moved to Milano, where with HC Milano he won his first Italian title in 1924/25. With that club he won four more Italian league titles (1926-27, 1930, 1933). He later played in Czechoslovakia and Great Britain but returned to Milano to win titles in 1936 with Diavoli Rossoneri and 1941 with A.M.D.G. (Associazione Milanese Disco su Ghiaccio).

Internationally Trovati played at four Worlds Championships (1930, 1933-35) and at the 1936 Olympic Winter Games. Once his sports career came to an end, he worked for the Italian Ice Hockey Federation.
