Biography

Greg Windsperger was the 1969 Minnesota High School ski jumping champion. In 1970, attending the University of Wyoming, he placed sixth at the NCAA Championships. In 1974 Windsperger broke the American ski flying record on the Planica, Slovenia, hill, with a mark of 479 feet (146 m). Windsperger planned to work on golf course management, but later transferred and graduated from Northern Michigan University. From 1983-88 Windsperger was the US national team coach. More recently he has worked with Federal Foam Technologies as a vice-president, with the company a custom fabricator of flexible cellular and plastic materials
