Biography

Matthias Wörndle finished 30th in the 50 km cross country skiing at the 1936 Garmisch Winter Games. He participated in the legendary Trofeo Mezzalama race in 1933 and 1934 and won bronze medals in both races. He was killed-in-action during World War II in 1942 near Kansodarsk in Russia.
