Biography

Tommy Schwall was a ski jumper who competed at the 2002 and 2006 Olympic Winter Games. He won one event at the Continental Cup, in Westby, Wisconsin. Schwall was runner-up at the US National Championships one time and placed third four times. Schwall graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in business administration. He retired after the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, citing a lack of funding for the sport in the United States. Schwall was inducted into the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame in 2008.
